Here is a link to a You Tube video of yesterday morning’s flight. I mounted my new mini video camera under the wing of my airplane. It worked rather well except for some occasional studder, which I haven’t figured out yet. The camera does record sound, but I edited it to some of my favorite music.

If anyone is interested, the camera is about the size of a cigarette lighter, records to a mini SD card and cost me $12 (minus the card). That’s right, $12. If you go on ebay, and search for MD80 camera, you will find many dealers in China and the going rate for the camera plus shipping is around $12.

Cool beans!!
Looks like Eric is a little Barrel Roll happy there!
Hope you have a cap on your beer otherwise you'd spill.

12 bucks for a video camera, seriously?

by chance, you wouldn't happen to know the guy in a yellow bi-plane crusing lake county on Sunday?

(O/T)

if it's the one I saw, I think it's Nygren's Stearman based at Campbell - it's for sale at last report. Nygren's is retiring up to his 640 acres in South Dakota and needs to sell his baby.

640 acres = one square mile

and he makes a half-decent mead.........

That could be it, otherwise, I've seen a yellow biplane of some sort take off out of Burlington a few times. Never got close enough to guess the type, but looked sort of like an Acrosport II or Skybolt or something along those lines.
